I’m Duane Mitchell, and I’ve worked in the real estate industry for almost 20 years. I’m also an actual native of Atlanta — yes, there are a few of us who exist! BEING A LOCAL
I’ve lived and thrived in the Atlanta metro area my whole life. I grew up in South Metro Atlanta, and I remember going to the Atlanta Fulton County Stadium to see the Braves and the Falcons play long before we had the Georgia Dome and Turner field. I witnessed the growth in our city after the 1996 Olympics, and I also witnessed the suburbs take off and several surrounding counties explode in growth. For example, Gwinnett, Forsyth and Henry were some of the fastest growing counties within 10 years after the 1996 Olympics piqued interest in Atlanta.
As a resident, I have lived in various areas, in both the North and South parts of Atlanta. I’m familiar with the different school districts, area attractions, businesses and shopping that Atlanta has to offer. This knowledge has allowed me to lead my clients to their best possible decision, whether buying in Atlanta for the first time or selling their home and relocating to another part of the city.
